“Splashing Through Puddles” Workshop
Rayon and cotton yarns.  Handknit using a mitred module technique. I was in Vancouver one rainy day Easter 2005.  On my way to visit a new yarn shop on West 10th Avenue, I splashed through some puddles slicked with oil. “How beautiful!” I thought, with a little shudder considering the source of the colours.  Browsing contentedly in the shop, I came across some lustrous rayon/cotton blends, and was immediately reminded of that oil slick.
