Workshops Terms and Conditions Knitting and Fibre Art Retreats Knitting and Fibre Art Retreats 1. Knitting Retreats   In 1999, I collaborated with two friends, Gloria Hanson and Wendy Henderson, to plan and present a knitting retreat near Vernon, BC. This event definitely met a need and proved so successful that retreats have been held every year on the weekend following Victoria Day each May. The topics change from year to year, and have been wide-ranging, from socks and sweaters to colour and design. The purpose remains the same—to enhance skills and knowledge thus building confidence and independence. Retreats are now held at Sorrento Centre on Shuswap Lake near Salmon Arm, BC. View Brochure 2. Fibre Work, Fiber Play : A Retreat for Fibre Enthusiasts   Any fiber, any technique--all are welcome at this fibre art retreat held at Sorrento Centre in early March or April. There is impromptu sharing and demonstrations, as well as critique sessions. Bring your unfinished projects or start something new. Contact me for more information.
